Step 1: Background Criminal Investigation for Adults
A State of Rhode Island BCI must be completed for all staff and volunteers every three years.

Step 2: Safe Environment In-Service Training for Adults
The In-Service Training must be provided to all staff and volunteers every three years. New staff and volunteers must participate in an in-person training at the parish.

Step 3: Circle of Grace Curriculum for Children
The Circle of Grace curriculum must be implemented annually in parishes for all children enrolled in a program of faith formation. Circle of Grace lessons must be presented at the start of the formation year. Each parish must submit a Circle of Grace Audit Report Form annually by November 7.
NOTE: The Circle of Grace Audit Report Form is now an online form. The link to the form has gone out to pastors, principals, and catechetical leaders by email.
